Claire has worked as a Podiatrist/ Chiropodist for over 30 years qualifying from Northampton school of podiatry. She is an experienced, highly motivated and skilled podiatrist with extensive management skills, who can work well alone and as part of a larger team.
Claire has worked in the NHS, in private practice and for two nationwide commercial podiatry companies as well as looked after single site clinics. This has included business analysis and critique, marketing structure, and creation and implementation of policies and protocols for effective running of a nationwide podiatry business.
She has very strong leadership skills and is very committed to the maintenance of ethical care in all areas of podiatry practice. She is very proactive and progressive in promotion of the profession and has taken on aspects of patient care relating to patient retention in private health care and discharge in the NHS. She is committed to keeping up to date and educated in her field and embraces change and challenge as part of an ever changing dynamic profession.
Claire enjoys all aspects of her profession but has particular interest in biomechanics (the mechanical function of the foot), podopaediatrics (children’s feet), and sports injuries as these areas engage logic and problem solving ability.
