Physiotherapy
PHYSIOTHERAPY
The main aim of Physiotherapy is to restore function. The Physiotherapists at Medipod Clinics assess and diagnose the problem, then plan and administer treatment programs that aim to restore function or minimise dysfunction after disease or injury. A combination of manual and exercises therapies are used to achieve this. Advice on posture and ergonomics is always provided aiming for the prevention of further injury or dysfunction.
With “Sano Physiotherapy”, all patients undergo a thorough assessment prior to treatment to identify the exact nature of the injury and what underlying factors could contribute to the pain. Treatment is based on accurate manipulation of the affected area to gain rapid pain relief. Re-training of the muscles following an injury is essential, and we provide exercises aimed at restoring good posture to minimise the risk of recurrence. A good posture also helps you to achieve the look of a healthy and well balanced body.
CONDITIONS WE TREAT

SPORTS MASSAGE
Our Physiotherapists also offer Sports Massage. Massage has a number of benefits both physical, physiological and psychological. Sports massage can help maintain the body in generally better condition, prevent injuries and loss of mobility, cure and restore mobility to injured muscle tissue, reduce muscle spasm, boost performance and extend the overall life of your sporting career.
Sports massage is also suitable for non sports people. It is a great way to relax muscles and reduce tension and fatigue. Regular massage improves circulation and removes waste products leaving your muscles more flexible and refreshed.
